JERSEY BOYS SEATING PLAN - VIEW MODIFIED SEATING PLAN FOR JERSEY BOYS (69KB)

Australia’s most popular theatre, the Princess Theatre has been home to many of the world’s most successful stage productions, amongst them The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Cats, Mama Mia! and The Producers.  Built in 1886, this beautiful theatre is regarded by many as Melbourne’s most spectacular landmark.

The Princess Theatre is haunted by the friendly ghost of ‘Federici’.  Federici died of a massive heart attack on March 3rd 1888 after a performance of the Opera, ‘Faust’.  Every opening night, a seat in the Dress Circle is left empty for him and it is a sign of good luck if there is a sighting of Federici on that night.  Many staff over the years have reported sightings of the friendly ghost.

The Princess Theatre

HISTORY

Jersey Boys

“TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!” raves the New York Post for JERSEY BOYS, the 2006 Tony Award®-winning Best Musical about Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi.

JERSEY BOYS is the first time the behind-the-scenes story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons has ever been told, bringing to life the thrilling early days of rock and roll, and the price of fame for four guys who had nothing – and everything – to lose.  They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide – all before they were 30!

Featuring classic hits, including Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like a Man, Oh What a Night and Can’t Take My Eyes off You.

Since opening on Broadway in 2005, Jersey Boys has been seen by over 5 million people, breaking box office records around the world.

JERSEY BOYS opened at Melbourne's iconic Princess Theatre on 4 July 2009.
